Nathan vs. Nursery

Something special about Nathan and John that some of you may not have noticed, Nate's half birthday is on John's birthday, and John's half birthday on Nate's birthday. So Nate is 18 months tomorrow. One of our friends is the nursery leader and has been wanting him to try it out for a few weeks now. Though, it's not really going so well. Why was I blessed with children that love their mom so much, she can never get a break?!! Nate, does just fine going to the child watch at the YMCA, which took me an entire month of going every day for him to finally like it. Now he likes the child watch so much that he doesn't like to leave. But nursery, no way. He cries at the word. It took us 2 years for Robby to go (crying it out does not work for every child!! Robby got to the point where he was hurting himself so they'd take him out). I don't know if I can handle another child not going to nursery. I haven't sat through a church meeting without children...since before children! Lucky for them their too cute, so I forgive them.

Tim has to take Bens to nursery or it becomes a challenge - he is a momma's boy also.
How are you doing?!

I know that as soon as Lucy turned one, it was that much harder at church. I am lucky if I get to hear any of my meetings. I hope that she will go to nursery when the time comes. She is such a mommy's girl though. I hope that he goes easier for you.

I remember when I worked in Nursery and had some kids who just wouldn't calm down no matter what, I'm glad that they brought Robby to you instead of just let him hurt himself. Hopefully Nathan will be easier...And hopefully Robby will be ok going to Primary in January too!!
