Georgia on my Mind

The week after Thanksgiving John had his National Board examinations. The doctor he works told him to take that whole week off, so we went to Georgia. The whole way there Robby said, "are we at our cousin's yet?" The kids were SO great in the car. It's an 8 1/2 hour drive. We stopped for 10 minutes on the border of Tennessee and Alabama, to go to the rest room. We couldn't understand a word anyone in there was saying, their accents were so heavy! Then we stopped for 20 minutes for dinner. On our drive we saw our own Cops Show. A man was pulled over and we saw him throw the cop over his shoulder. Crazy world down there in Alabama!!

We were only able to be there 2 1/2 days. Our time went by too fast! We had so much fun. It was so good for Robby to play with his cousins! Robby still talks about William. Would be so fun to get all the 3/4 year old cousins together!

After we got home, during family prayer we said we were thankful we could go to our cousins, Nathan immediately jumped up and ran to the door, it was locked so he ran to us trying to get us to help him open the door. It was too cute! It was so nice to see our Southern cousins. Hope to see them again soon!
