Preschool Graduate

Robby went to his last day of preschool this year, since we are moving. It breaks my heart to take him away. Robby doesn't really comprehend that he's never going back. He still wakes up saying, "I have preschool today."

Robby's best friend Nash at school was very upset when his grandma was telling him Robby wouldn't be going to school any more. It broke my heart to take Robby away from him. For a long time they were the only two boys in the class. Now there are 3 other boys, but they are the troublemakers. Robby and Nash always did everything together. I ask Robby what he did at school and he always says, "Nash and I..." Robby made Nash a nice little drawing. And Nash gave him a card.

Robby's teachers Ms. Meridith (on the right) and Ms. Jessica. Ms. Meridith on the right was really sad to see Robby go. She cried when I dropped him off on his last day and when I picked him up. This was her first class. She was a very good teacher. Robby talks about her a lot.

Her are some photo's of a zoo trip we were able to go with him back in October. Addison (girl with the red bow), has a little crush on Robby. Her mom says she's always talking about him at home. She also draws him pictures to take home all the time. It's so cute.

Though it was just a short 5 months of preschool I am so thankful he was able to go. Robby is so smart and he was getting board at home. I wasn't able to keep him busy enough. Preschool helped him learn, have fun and most importantly to make friends. My little shy, timid boy as blossomed! It's so cool. We go to the mall to play or the park and he can just jump in with other kids and start playing and talking with them. I am so grateful for that.

Robby has also been able to take 2 months of swimming lessons. Three of the girls in his class go as well. It's really helped him learn the rules of the water and be more confident. I love the YMCA so much! I'm so grateful we were able to get on a scholarship to afford to do all this.

Monday was his last day so for FHE we did a little graduation ceremony for him and had some cupcakes! Robby thought that was so cool that he graduated before daddy!
