After that we went to the Kirtland temple that is now owned my The Community of Christ Church (formally the RLDS). We had to pay $2 each to go in. There were three levels and Grandpa Laub climbed every stair in his cast. There wasn't much to see and the tour was very poor. The girl didn't really know much and didn't share any stories about it. All the rooms were empty. It was really neat to see the meeting room where Joseph and Oliver saw Jesus, Elias, Elijah and Moses.
We went to U.S. President James A. Garfield house. They were doing free tours the day we went.
On Saturday we went to the beach on Lake Erie. Robby loved the sand! It was a great beach and the water was warm. Robby was really sad to leave.
We drove around Cleveland, we saw the place my Grandpa and Grandma Edwards lived when he went to Dental School in the 50's. We also went to the oldest farmers market. They had all kinds of crazy foods and there were tons of people.
We went to A Christmas Story house!! It cost $7 a person but we had to do it. It was so fun! Robby loved the leg lamp! Johnny and I tried reinacting the scences for you to enjoy.
On the way home we stopped the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton. They had a lot of cool planes from WWI and WWII. They were letting people take tours of Kennedy's Air Force One but there as a long line and baby's weren't allowed. How heartless!.

I had such a good time. Thanks for taking me. It definetly helped shorten my recovery time with my ankle
I love all the pictures!! It looked like a fun trip. We are hoping to visit Navoo as well next summer. :)
Wow. They charged you to go in the Temple? It's been 10 yrs since we went, it was free then, but the tour guide didn't kow anything either. I felt sorry for him because the tour was all mormons and we were answering each other's questions. I liked the School of the Prophets as well. Our whole group sang while we were in there.
...And we would've gone in the Christmas Story house as well... :)
Hopefully we'll be able to go with you next year!
