My parents were able to come to Mexico for our last week and a half. It was so nice to show them around, made me love the city again. We had a lot of fun in Mexico, it's truly beautiful and the people are so amazing. I miss it there but I am happy to be home to the conveniences of the US.
John finished clinic on Tuesday and that night we took a night bus to Puerto Vallarta (11pm - 8am). Their bus was so incredibly nice, wish we had taken a picture. They were so comfortable that we actually slept. I wish US airlines would be more like their buses.
We had booked a condo in the Holiday Inn for us all to stay on VRBO.com, so much cheaper! In case any of you are planning an international travel! It was right on the beach and had a kitchen for us to cook in.
We took a 45 min. boat ride to Yellapa. This town is only assessable by boat. It had a cute little waterfall and an amazing beach! This little town only got electricity just a few years ago, isn't that crazy!
In Puerto Vallarta a lot of people make beautiful sand sculptures for tips.
Grandma Sherrie and Robby. This is my favorite picture!
Johnny is so nice. I had mentioned before that they have these little massage huts on the beach there and that mother's day was coming up.....so he paid for everyone to get a massage!! It was actually no more expensive than going to the mall and getting one! The land it was on hung out over the water a little. Just laying there getting a massage and listening to the ocean waves it felt like a little piece of heaven.
Robby loved the beach so much, the sand and the water. First thing he's say in the morning, "time for the beach!" He was really sad to leave. Our plane flew over it on our way out, he like that and he keeps talking about when we can go back.
Nathan, didn't like the water at all. We found out later that he had an ear infection, poor baby. He just wanted to sit on the lounge chairs the entire time. He was so cute though, because they have vendors that come up every few minutes to sell stuff and Nate got so used to us saying it that he knew the second they came up to say, "no gracias."
We had a lot of fun in Mexico. Hopefully Robby will be able to remember a little glimpse of it when he's older.
