Robby vs. Balance Beam

I belonged to the Hoosier Momma's club in Bloomington. A group of moms from the community that want to get together and do stuff. We had a big summer party and each mom got 10 raffle tickets for prizes. I put most of mine in for a gymnastics camp....and I won! It was a week long class, 2 hours a day. I was so worried about it because as you know, Robby doesn't go to nursery (update, he does now, that we moved!!). His camp was 2 weeks before we moved, so I had a lot to do. For some reason it just clicked with him. He didn't care at all. He gave me a kiss and went in with his coach. Parents have to stay behind this glass window, they are strictly not allowed on the gym floor. I watched him for 20 then left because he was dong just fine. I came back a few minutes early to see how he was going...fine! I was in complete shock! He was so exhausted from it, he'd come home and take a 2 hour nap. He didn't cry once! Mom cried serveral times though. One thing they did that really made it fun for him, they had themed days, bring a stuffed animal, hat day, crazy hair, dress in their team colors (stars, glitter, purple, black and white). He loved that! Each day he'd get so excited he'd ask to get ready hours before he was suppose to go. He really liked his coach too. He was almost always by her side. It was so nice that he went, the place is right by our house, so I'd drive home put Nate to nap and I packed. I got a lot done during that time!


Team day. We had to be creative, since he doesn't own glitter or purple! I had some star stickers I let him put on his shirt. He liked that. Almost all the girls where dressed up but not many of the boys. Hard theme for boys!

Crazy hair day, he was so proud of his hair, he though it was great. We did a good job spraying in as it was still like that when I picked him up.
