John Cougar Mellencamp

I've been a fan of John Cougar Mellencamp ever since I was a little girl. I have my dad to thank for that. When we found out we were moving to Bloomington I was excited in hopes to someday run into Mellencamp. Well we've been here 2 years and that hasn't happened yet. Though I know he goes to the late movies on College Mall, Old Navy, and Chapman's...or at least that's what everyone tells me. I don't really go to those place so I probably won't run into him. Anyways- when I saw Mellencamp was going to do a concert here I had to get tickets and I just had to ask my dad to come along. Mellencamp hadn't done a concert here in a long time so this was my chance.
We had really good seats and could see pretty well. The band was phenomenal! Mellencamp awesome. I loved it when it was just him and his guitar. Of course he did the classics Jack and Diane, Little Pink Houses and more, plus some of his new stuff. The concert was 2 hours, he went a little longer because he said he was having fun and wanted to sing a little more. Poor Johnny had to watch Robby and Nathan and go to the trunk-r-treat which Nathan didn't enjoy too much. Thanks Johnny for watching them and the tickets! And thanks Dad for coming glad we could share that together!
