Easter

We had a great Easter! On Good Friday we met up with some friends and did a dinner at the park and had an egg hunt for the kids. Each kid got to find 10, since that's how many we were all asked to bring for each child. Robby was more excited to shake and listen to the eggs because he knew they had candy in them. There were a few with marshmallow's in them, when he shook them he would get this funny face and say "candy, candy."

Our fire department did a free breakfast and egg hunt on Saturday. It was inside due to the rain. They gave all the kids a firefighter hat, that Robby just loves, and has to take everywhere! They did the hunt in their lounge area. They had ages 5 and under go first which wasn't very fair. Robby was right in front of 10 eggs just laying on a table. He was just looking at them when this 5 year old pushed him aside and swiped all 10 eggs! How rude! It made me more mad than Robby, who was completely happy with the three eggs that he found.

On Sunday Robby woke up and walked right into our room without even noticing the eggs all over the room or his big ball in the middle of the floor. His grammie called and Robby took the phone and walked into the front room, then noticed the eggs. He kept saying "clean up" while putting them into his basket.

That night we had our friends Kurt and Heidi over for Easter dinner. It was nice to have company. We all had a great Easter!

I love that he told you to open it. Haha. That kid is too much like me, distracted by chocolate.
