Spring Break in Cincinnati

This last week Johnny has been on spring break. We have been meaning to go to Cincinnati since we've lived here because it's only two hours away but haven't gone until now. We read about the bad part of town, Over the Rhine and somehow drove right through it, boy was it a dump!

We had a lot of fun we were able to go to the Cincinnati Museum of History and Natural Science, which sounds boring but we got in free with our Wonderlab pass. It was actually one of the best museums we have ever been to. They had dinosaur fossils, big bat caves and ice caves to walk through.

We went on top of the Carew building, 49 floors high, one floor shorter than the space needle. It was only $2 to go on top of the roof. The building was built in 1932 and you could tell, the elevator was a two man elevator and really wobbly. While on top of the building Robby kept whining that he needed a drink so I gave him his sippy cup, moments later he tossed it right of the roof, we both tried to stop it but couldn't. Luckily it landed on a lower part of the building and not some poor homeless guy below.

Looks like you all had fun! We have been to Cinci once for a baseball game but did not do anything else. It looks like we will have to go back and see some things. Glad you all had a good break!
