WE GOT OUR CAR BACK!!!!! Our 12 weeks and 6 days of driving a loaner Beetle are over. The best part is; the repairs cost us nothing! The price was supposed to be $1,284.10, but it was covered by our warantee and the dealership paid the deductible for us. They say it turns out it was actually a wire in the sunvisor that was causing the electrical problem that kept the car running. Pretty crazy.In other news, Robby has some wild hair! This is his Albert Einstein look. Oh, and it snowed today. Well, there were snowflakes falling.

wow. what an awful repair place to keep your car for 12 weeks. What kind of loser business to they run over there? You should complain-big time. I'm serious. If your insurance sent you there, make sure your insurance company doesn't send you there again.
oh, i just re read your post, and you said you took it to the dealership? I still can't believe it would take 12 weeks and cost over $1,000 just to fix a little wire in the sunvisor. Am I missing something here?
